shoegaze. sure is. do ppl even know what theyre saying anymore. not like you should listen to me, i watch neopunkfm, but i rlly am just annoyed i cant find anything in that kinda realm of mbv's noisier shit. i think the closest ive gotten is glare but the guitar is still pretty muddy. also general tone is very sad.

part of why i like loveless is cuz it's noisy but you can still cut apart the layers. also the guitar is v distinct. and the tone is hopeful. meanwhile smthin like slowdive or whirr is very. downtrodden. i dont like it. i wanna blast this shit through my headpgones and feel like im on 12 tabs of molly. loveless is great bc it makes you feel like youre high without actually being high.

this is where id go "maybe i should go back to breakcore" but a lot of breakcore also has this problem .

idk. i like my layers and i like high energy and i like noise. i wish reizoko cj still made music

i think a lot of this kinda holds up even if its badly mixed tbh. this was like my first foray into "breakcore" ever but i didnt really understand how it worked yet other than watching this one tutorial video called like "reizoko cj technique" (which i dont think is on yt anymore sadly) so it's just constantly bouncing between weird reizokore and soundclown mashups and drops from skrillex songs lifted wholesale and hardstyle kicks its kind of awesome actually. idek if im capable of making anything this wild anymore lol you kind of have to barely understand what you're doing to make something like this

I rescind this statement, I just got comboed from anime op directly into reizoko cj right into a roundhouse Sabaton

So I did the “massive playlist of every song I’ve ever listened to with no coherency or theme whatsoever” thing. The thing is, though, that like, yeah, going from Kasane Teto’s cover of Fukkireta immediately into Sabaton’s Carolus Rex, followed by a eurobeat remix of Caramelldansen is great and all, but like, it’s not as jarring as I had hoped. Of course, having all my music just looping is great, but I’m still mildly disappointed.
